Abhyanga
the warm-oil ritual
An unhurried, full-body envelopment in herb-infused oil — drawn from a four-handed Kerala lineage, performed in a candle-lit room with a single attendant.
The notes→A small house of certified therapists, ceremonial rituals, and a quiet membership programme — for those who would rather not be seen at the door.
We tend to a
quiet few.
Royal Spa is not a clinic, not a salon, and certainly not a wellness brand. It is a small private house, in two cities, where ten certified therapists practise a careful catalogue of bodywork — Ayurvedic, Balinese, Hammam — for a guest list that arrives by referral and leaves the way it came.
Hours are kept long. Music is kept low. Names are kept off the ledger. What we ask in return is patience for the slow ceremony, and a willingness to be properly looked after for an hour or two — the way a house looks after a returning guest.
The full catalogue runs to thirty-one ceremonies. These three are the most asked for — and the ones we have practised the longest.
The full catalogue→the warm-oil ritual
An unhurried, full-body envelopment in herb-infused oil — drawn from a four-handed Kerala lineage, performed in a candle-lit room with a single attendant.
The notes→marble, steam & silence
A private bathing ceremony of warm marble, black olive soap and sea sponge — closed with a copper-poured rinse and a long silence on the resting bed.
The notes→the falling thread
A continuous thread of warm sesame oil, drawn over the brow for the better part of an hour. Reserved for the few who arrive carrying too much.
The notes→The Royal Programme is a closed, year-long privilege. A single contribution of ₹ 1,00,000 — opens an account of ₹ 2,00,000 in credit, shareable, in absolute discretion, with three names of your choosing.
Reserve an hour. We shall set the room.
